What does the word SCRIP mean?

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials.

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a program which allows us to buy gift cards which directly benefit the school.

The school purchases discounted gift cards, each of which pays the school a varying percentage of profit. The difference in the school's cost vs. the retail cost paid by families is what is earned by the school. When you buy gift cards through the SCRIP program, PAC makes money to support the school.
